The latest addition to Pioneer's 'Champion' series subwoofers has arrived with the TS-W312D4 Car Entertainment Subwoofer. Elevating the 'Champion' Series to new heights, this subwoofer boasts various enhancements. Featuring a lightweight and highly rigid cone design, a dual-layer hybrid surround, a robust motor assembly, and an enclosed basket structure, the new 'Champion' Series subwoofers not only present an appealing aesthetic but also promise superior performance. Paired with Pioneer's GM-D Series amplifiers, this combination ensures an impressive in-car audio experience.

The rigid cone construction, characterized by a large rigid center cap and a lightweight, high-rigidity cone structure, enhances output performance while minimizing loss. The improved dual-layer hybrid surround, made of elastic polymer and fiber, offers a lighter and more durable alternative to traditional rubber compounds.

With a powerful motor assembly that includes a double-stacked 90oz magnet (26% larger than the previous model) and a longer voice coil design, the 'Champion' Series subwoofers are engineered for high power handling and endurance. The IMPP Composite Seamless Cone, known for its durability and lightweight properties, prevents cone failure at high sound pressure levels while delivering accurate and powerful bass.

Pioneer introduces another innovation with the dual-layer elastic polymer surround, enhancing durability and lightness for superior response, particularly at louder volumes. The 'Champion' Series subwoofer cones boast 14% more surface area than conventional cones, ensuring louder and better bass reproduction.

Featuring a single/dual voice coil design, Pioneer provides flexibility with the Dual 4 Ω subwoofer, allowing it to be wired at 2 or 8 Ω for optimal amplifier utilization. Simplifying installation, all speaker terminals are conveniently placed on one side of the subwoofer.

Optimal ventilation is ensured through the air vent, smoothly channeling the movement of air within the subwoofer for a quick response and clear bass reproduction. The product specifications include an extra-tough suspension for high durability against high input power, a 4-layer copper voice coil with an aluminum former for improved heat dissipation, and a subwoofer design allowing flexible in-car installation in a box or free-air application.
