Additionally, it enables the simultaneous pairing of two phones with the car radio. The device not only plays popular audio formats such as MP3 and WMA but also ensures high-quality, undistorted sound with the FLAC (Free Lossless Audio Codec) and WAV audio codecs. The absence of an integrated CD drive has reduced the installation depth by over 30%, making it only 100 millimeters. This makes the "Mechaless" car radios suitable for vehicles with limited installation space or concealed installation, such as in classic cars. The Kenwood Remote App transforms compatible Android and Apple smartphones into comprehensive remote controls for all Kenwood Bluetooth car radios. The app features large touch buttons for basic commands like pause or title jump and is available for free on the Google Playstore and the App Store.
